Managing the installation, maintenance, modification and removal of high and low voltage electrical equipment and protection / control schemes up to 400kV.
On site CDM establishment and management, ensuring:
Adequate site office, stores and welfare facilities
Enforcement of good housekeeping
Management of safety in the workplace
Control and management of subcontractors and site staff to maintain good timekeeping, efficient working practices and quality of workmanship
Monitoring progress and costs against budget and programme.
Ensuring adequate skill levels and numbers of operatives are maintained to meet the demands of the project.
Smooth deployment of skilled labour to multi site projects.
Preparation and distribution of method statements and risk assessments.
Preparation and maintenance of integrated site programmes.
Liase with other key operational stakeholders, customers & suppliers ensuring milestone delivery dates are met in line with the contract programmes.
Undertake site visits and audits to ensure EHS, quality, delivery and cost are being controlled.
Complete site surveys in advance of site establishment to identify potential health, safety and environment risks in order to put in place control measures.
Ensure implementation and continued compliance with company and customer codes of practices and procedures.
Liaising with all project stakeholders to co-ordinate EHS and progress to plan.
On-site CDM establishment and management and completion of EHS requirements.
